Group Training

Group Sessions are one of the most popular ways to stay fit, healthy and to improve your overall wellbeing.  We offer a range of sessions to suit beginners, intermediates and more advanced exercisers.

You’ll learn new ways to exercise whilst benefiting from the increased motivation and support that working out alongside others can deliver, and hopefully you'll make plenty of new friends along the way!

All in the open air and natural surroundings our sessions include; high energy quick HIIT workouts, strength & conditioning circuit training, easy paced short group runs, and faster paced longer runs.  Explore the options below and whatever it is you enjoy you’re sure to find a session you’ll keep coming back to.

Circuit Training

The learning the ropes one

Thursdays 0945-1030

Saturdays 0930-1015

It’s a traditional circuit training format (moving around different exercise stations, performing each exercise as many times as you can during the set time), only the intensity is dialled down to allow beginners to master techniques and grab a little extra recovery time!

It promises to be fun and highly motivating.  Mostly exercising with a partner or in teams you’ll hardly notice the effort as you complete circuits of varied exercises from bodyweight and cardio activities to the use of a wide range of exercise equipment.

With the class size kept to a maximum of 6 you’ll also benefit from more one-to-one instruction, quickly mastering new skills and developing all round fitness and athleticism.

-Beginners/new to exercise

-Or those just looking for a lighter workout

-Keen to learn and develop a base of fitness and strength

Most Group Training sessions start in East Linton Park, either beside the skate park or the War Memorial Monument.  Although we do take in the odd mystery tour with starting locations varying and announced in advance.

Circuit Training and Endorphin Rush sessions require a minimum of 4 participants to run.  If this is not met within 24hrs of the start time the session will be cancelled.  Anyone booked in will be moved to the following week's session or can choose a full refund.

For the runs, trail shoes are strongly recommended and a head torch is mandatory (Sep-Mar).  For all sessions, please dress appropriately for the (changeable) weather and bring plenty of fluids.
